A Risograph print is a layered image produced by a digital stencil duplicator that uses soy-based, semi-translucent inks to create a unique texture and appearance, similar to a digital screen printer. Each color layer is printed one at a time, requiring a separate stencil for each, which leads to distinctive color blends, slight misregistration between layers, and a tactile, often imperfect aesthetic.
